Default Bug Bra

I have a 2007 F-150 and as love bug season gets in swing I am trying to find out something to do to help out. I mainly just want one for the bug season. Does anyone have any expirience with a bug bra? I found one made by LeBra on Autoanything.com, but I dont know much about it. Thanks for any help.

Personally im not a big fan of the bug bras. Not really b/c of functionality, but more because of looks. i'd rather just attack the front end with a pressure washer once a week.

You're not familiar with "love bugs" in Florida....these things can pit the paint job on a car if you leave them on a week or so. I have a bra I just bought off of Ebay for $39.00; it's the one that was sold through the Ford parts department. I use it when I drive from Dallas Texas to Orlando Florida. Then it comes off until the trip back.

If you can get one that covers the entire front (a two piece so you can open the hood), I'd say go for it; Then remove it after the love bug season.

I feel your pain on those sorry bugs.

Yeah, i am not a big fan of them either but i was thinking maybe put it on durig the bad bug season then take it off the remainder of the time. I found a two piece one for about 70 bucks, so i may just do that

For those that plan to travel through Florida in May or September, here's a link that describes the pesky bugs:

That link was certainly insightful. Good to know. I remember many car washes during those months, when I lived in Tampa. Thanks Bucko, for the article and ufbw721 for the thread.
