Broken spark plug removal
I have a 2005 F150 Trinton 5.4 , I had a spark plug come apart at the metal casing on the bottom. Ceramic on top and screw is out. Have nothing to put the socket on. Not sure how to remove it.

This is very common, Ford has a TSB out about it, sucks you didn't see that before attempting. The best tool based on forum reviews is this:
Ford's tool maker Rotunda has another kit, Snap-On and several mechanics tool sellers have other variations.
Basically you need to thread a tap into the remaining shaft and pull it out, I know I've seen some home made versions with all thread as well. Take a look at the procedure on the TSB:
