Default Break-in through drivers door

Wondering if anybody out there knows of a way to deter car theft. Recently, my truck was broke into through the drivers side lock cylinder. Apparently this is a very easy way for dishonest people to gain access to your vehicle. They simply pound out the cylinder, then use a screw driver for entrance. I will not replace it for somebody to bust again.

What are some options? Ford doesn't offer a keyless entry handle without the lock cylinder........

If they took out the lock cylinder they didnt know......
The way I look at it is if they want in they will get in so the best we can do is deter best we can and hope they don't rape us to bad!

Edit: Sorry I don't think we should be advertising exactly how to break into these trucks.

Default alarm

I'm going to invent an alarm that if someone lifts up on the door handle while the alarm is on, then it sprays pepper spray.... that should stop someone, lol

if someone really wants in your truck they will get in no matter what you do.

Default break in

get rid of the door handles (use remote), and install bullet proof glass... I've seen it where you can hit a pane glass window with a baseball bat and it just shakes. that stuff would be great.

Make the interior unattractive to burgulars - don't leave anything valuable in sight, put a locking bar on the steering wheel.

well said, only real thing you can do is get a good alarm and make sure you have good insurance, my alarm locks the steering wheel, locks the ignition and the shifter..its not going anywhere unless they have a tow truck with a strong enough winch (which ill hear screeching tires)

Default security

I used to have a sticker on my truck that said "protected by shoot first security...I ask questions later"

have you ever seen a roll back truck with no wrighting on it come trough your neighbor hood or maybe somethign like repo depo on it.

They can back up to your truck and be gone and everyone will think your truck is getting repoped.
