Does anyone have pics of what their rear brakes look like with pads and everything installed? I just had my pads and rotors (factory POS braking system IMO) replaced and I thought I heard something rattle around and fall off. I looked at them and everything looks the same on each side.

Your the first I've read (on several forums) to complain of the stock braking system (front or rear) on these trucks. I find nothing wrong with them. I put 65K on the first set, and that was with ocasional towing.

I'd head out to an auto store and pick up a copy of the Haynes (or comperable) repair manual for 20 bucks. Plenty of pictures; good ones of the brake system.

If you suspeck something is loose causing the rattle, why don't you take it back to whomever did the brake job, and have them check their work?
