Brake light and ABS light on 04 F150
#31
For the brake light only!
1. The Ebrake switch is bad or stuck or bad wiring
2. The low brake fluid switch is bad or just low fluid or bad wiring
3. The ABS is not communicating with the instrument panel (check plugs and wires, test the continuity of the wires)
4. The instrument panel is at fault, there was a known problem of internal shorts. Go here for a repair shop. http://www.gaugerepairman.com/FORD-CLUSTER-REPAIRS.html
For the ABS and Ebrake light.
1. There is a bad ABS fuse
2. Check for the ABS codes, most autoparts store can read them for free.
3. There is a bad ABS sensor or bad wiring
4. The ABS is not communicating with the instrument panel (check plugs and wires, test the continuity of the wires)
5. The ABS module has an internal problem.

Real Puzzler, Please help!!
We were driving and suddenly the truck sort of surged and the brake light, ABS and Swerve lights came on and stayed on, a few seconds later the F14 fuse blew, so no air con or back up camera. We replaced the fuse and warning lights went off, air con and back up camera worked. Took the truck out again on the freeway and the same thing happened. This is a 2008 F-150 Limited. Any ideas?
Thanks
