I have the Hawk ceramic pads (forget the model). They don't dust at all, and have great stopping power and feel once warm. I find them a bit wooden (lack of feel) when cold though. Small price to pay for saving all that time cleaning rims though.

Price isn't bad...NAPA's website says $85 and it's confusing whether it's for a set of 2 or four...the link is for front wheel but further in the product description they say a set consists of four pads...but four pads for $85 seems a little too good to be true!

4 pads is just the front, theres one pad on each side of the rotor. 2 pads for the left front wheel and 2 pads for the right front wheel

Default Brake Pad Price

Start shopping on Ebay Guys !

I just bought a Rear Set of Ceramic Hawks for 45.00 Shipped to my door. They came from an Auto Supply House in CA. If you know what you want and the price you are willing to pay then shop on Ebay. You can save big bucks if you can waite a day or two

Try arguing with someone over speed and load ratings for tires... think of a guy with Z rated tires on his Vette looking for 60 dollar specials.
Don't get what you mean by this, which was a reply to my post? I simply stated don't skimp on tires or pads, as they are your only contact with the road and biggest stopping factor.

I know plenty of people who'll buy the cheapest items no matter what, without realizing the potential impact the cheapies may have compared to a set of pads that are $20 more for the set, or tires that are $20 more per tire. And of course, sometimes the cheaper option is better, but it all depends on the manufacturer and quality of the part. It's just funny when these people complain cause their new tires don't perform as well as the replaced tires that were more expensive, or complain about the stopping power of the new cheap pads. Basically a "you get what you pay for" type of deal.
