+1 on the NAPA Adaptive One pads
( full disclosure I worked for a NAPA store)
They are ceramic, low dust, and give excellent stopping power. I use them in my own cars, and have a set here waiting to go on the F150 when I put the new wheels on un the spring.
They ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for

option 1 is the best...i just went ahead and removed my braking system lol

wow, that sucks for you guys. mine has no dust at all and if it did i wash it once a week anyway so it wouldnt matter. though mine is a 2000 so its not a problem anyway

+2 on the Adaptive One pads from Napa. I probably get 90% less brake dust now compared to when I had stock pads. Also no squeak and luckily my brother owns a repair shop so he gets everything real cheap from napa.

I have had people come in for pads, where the car has ceramics from the factory, and leave with the cheapest semi metallic pads they could get.
Try arguing with someone over speed and load ratings for tires... think of a guy with Z rated tires on his Vette looking for 60 dollar specials .
When upgrading, sometimes you get to a price for a part and go hmmmm I'm not digging that deep into my pockets, but in my case I didn't flinch when the pads came up at IIRC 84 dollars my cost. I get Master Installer pricing from NAPA, which is about as good a discount as you can get, so walk in customers with no account can expect to pay more, just like a dealers parts department, tell them you are a shop , talk like you know what you are doing and get 20% off.
my wheels were 1156 from Centerline, when I asked for a "trade discount" and gave them my business name, they knocked 45 bucks off each wheel, at 1156 shipped I was wavering, at 976 I said SHIP!
