Brake Dust on Front Rims?

Brake Dust on Front Rims?
Help - Got to ask how you stop the massive amount of brake dust that is getting all over the front wheels and making them look red/brown. This is the worst I have ever seen on all of my trucks I have owned over the years including a couple of F250's.
The truck is a 2006 F150 XLT Supercrew.
The only way I see getting around this issue is to replace the rims with some aftermarket matte black rims to hid the dust.
What have you all done to make this issue less of an eyesore?

Forever making payments..
You have a few options,
1.) Don't use your brakes anymore.
2.) Clean the Dust off and bam your rims are no longer brown.
3.) They do make ceramic pads that reduce dust output.

I have brake covers on the inside of my rims and it keeps 99% of the dust off the wheels. I bought the truck used and they came with it. I was not too sure about them at first but I do not even notice them now. and the wheels require almost no cleaning. These are on a 2008 F-150 SCREW with factory 20's.

Welcome to mine and practically every other 04-08 F150 owners nightmare. Well, unless they've changed their stock pads.
I'm with most others, change to ceramic pads. Me, I just haven't gotten around to it yet, need to quit being lazy and cheap. Hear Hawk makes some good pads.
Only you need to worry about brake heat if you tow. Have heard of many issues regarding the heat of the brakes when people tow with these dust covers. No personal experience though.

+1 on the NAPA Adaptive One pads
( full disclosure I worked for a NAPA store)
They are ceramic, low dust, and give excellent stopping power. I use them in my own cars, and have a set here waiting to go on the F150 when I put the new wheels on un the spring.
They ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for
