when the factory pads were out i will go to ceramic... I also will more than likely go to a better rotor also.

but first i gotta get wheels... everytime i put back a few dollars for them an emergency comes up... sux...lol

Maybe go for the pads & rotors 1st. I'd hate to see them new wheels get caked up with brake dust from the old pads.

I heard ceramic pads screw up your rotors. Is that true?

think about this..... a pad has to be a certain hardness and your rotors are a certain hardness. the harder the pad is on the rotor it will wear a little faster. I have not had any complaints from the comercial shops on this as of yet. I think the braking capabilities outway the rotors being repalced. of course you have to look at driving habits also.

I agree and that is why you never go with those "Life Time" brakes. They are way too hard, so they last long, and eat through your rotors really quick.

I vote for ceramic pads. Rather replace pads than rotors anyday.
