Check out my thread on fuse 14, Kenny and I have figured out it is our Pcv heater. If putting your truck in reverse causes this problem every time it could be related .. You have some trouble shooting to do!

First check which items are in that circuit....

Default Abs light with humming noise

My abs light came on and now when i turn my Ford F150 2000 truck off it sound like a fan motor is still running or something is like a blower motor stays running. I have to disconnect my positive battery cable to get the motor or humming sound to stop. Help. The fan itself is not in motion and I can't see anything that could be still operating once my ignition is turned off.

Kenny, I've had a different but similar issue.

In regards to the fuse popping.

You have a short or ground out somewhere in the circuit. I spent three days tracking down a similar issue on fuse 23 on my truck (transmission, shift solenoid, o2 sensors, etc). Chased the wires all by hand, unplugged sensors one by one to source the short. Found two shorts, one was where the wiring harness entered the engine bay, resting on the exhaust manifold where it melted and grounded out.

I'd be checking the entire circuit. Start at the furthest point or the easiest to reach areas and check the wires and any equipment or sensors plugged into it.

I have an 09 F150 4X4 King Ranch Same warning in the instrument panel.
Cruise control, trailer brakes, and all lights are working correctly.
Any help greatly appreciated
