how about adding cap to your truck it will add weight to it and change the handling a wee bit.

You may loose some hulling capacity but you gain security and protection to the stuff you put in the back, like grocers sporting equipment and tools.

Dude you need to seriously chill out, everybody here knows how to drive their truck, the kind of bumps he is talkin about are unexpected and something you don't prepare for and where you live, they probably have much nicer roads than some other places. Trust me I know how to drive my truck and these are not pot holes by the way. If you hit this kind of thing in the even at 25mph I promise you would have the same thing happen to you. It has nothing to do with your driving skills, just a crazy thing, travel a little bit I'm sure you'll have some weird **** happen to you.

Suspension kits:
You can go to more of an off-roading softer suspension setup at the expense of towing/hauling capacity. It just depends on what you use your truck for - more offroad or need to tow/haul heavy stuff?

A guy calls his buddy, the horse rancher, and says he's sending a friend over to look at a horse.

His buddy asks, "How will I recognize him?"

"That's easy; he's a midget with a speech impediment."

So, the midget shows up, and the guy asks him if he's looking for a male or female horse.

"A female horth."

So he shows him a prized filly.

"Nith lookin horth. Can I thee her eyeth"?

So the guy picks up the midget and he gives the horse's eyes the once over.

"Nith eyeth, can I thee her earzth"?

So he picks the little fella up again, and shows him the horse's ears.

"Nith earzth, can I see her mouf"?

The rancher is getting pretty ticked off by this point, but he picks him up again and shows him the horse's mouth.

"Nice mouf, can I see her ****"?

Totally mad as fire at this point, the rancher grabs him under his arms and rams the midget's head as far as he can up the horse's ***, pulls him out and slams him on the ground.

The midget gets up, sputtering and coughing.

"Perhapth I should rephrase that...

Can I thee her wun awound a widdlebit"?

"PERHAPTH I SHOULD REPHRASE THE QUESTION"........

Maybe someone with more years in these trucks can suggest a type of suspension able to control rear bounce better than the stock system?

THANKYOU SIR.........
A person finally answers the question....
I never plan to go off road........
and never plan to tow very much.....
Occasionally will drop the boat in the water, but that's from the storage in the marina to the ramp which right next to storage.

A softer ride shock might be right for you. Assuming no lift to front leveling: http://www.skyjacker.com/products/pr...tail/?id=86807

$36 at JEGS: http://www.jegs.com/i/Skyjacker/825/H7041/10002/-1

I've been told the Skyjacker Hydros ride a bit softer than their nitros - hence the recommendation above.
