Default Bought USED Edge evo tunner, need help PLEASE!!

hi,
I purchased a used edge evo from some guy on craigslist and he told me it's good to go and plug into my truck, he said he returned it to stock and can just plug it into my truck. That's all that was said, thing is I have never used a gunner before. My truck is completely stock what do you guys recommend I do? Is there somewhere I can get a manual? I really don't want to mess up my truck so I thought I'd ask the experts! Also, what are the shift points and such thing? Thanks in advanced!

If it was ACTUALLY returned to stock you should be fine. Look for manual on the edge website or on Google. That's where I found mine. Manual has all you need to know!

Make sure you update it also with the Edge Fusion software as well, always a good idea to do that and only takes a couple mins

Update it, load level 2 into your truck and call it a day. IF tires and Gear ratio are different, change those by custom settings. Goodluck.

Load level 2 and choose custom tune and set these options:

Level 2 custom settings
Gear Ratio = whats in the truck, confirm it with your axle code
Tire Size = enter correct diameter
Idle Speed = I never adjust this
WOT Shifting = 1-2 and 2-3 @ 5000 and 3-4 @ 4600 rpm
Std. Shifting = leave alone
Shift Firmness = all 3 set at +8, you can try +10 for all as well
Rev Limiter = 5500 rpm
Speed Limiter = what ever you are comfortable with, I do 120 mph
Timing Adjustment = +.25 or +.50 (if you do +.50, make sure your engine doesnt ping)
WOT Fuel = no need to go over +1.50

Scuba_Dave and Bossgame yeah I'll shiot them and email and try to get an manual for the tuner Summers22 how can I find the axle code?

Another question for all of you. I've been reading a lot about transmission problems have any of your experienced that? Is there something that leads to having that issue? Can I avoid it?

I ran a Edge Evolution on my Superduty for over 100K miles, never a engine or transmission problem. Not to say it cant cause problems because of the added line pressures from "firming" up the shifts, but I have not experienced any problems. As far as your axle code, its on the door jamb sticker, this should help you decipher it:
19 = 3.55 Non-LS
18 = 3.08 Non-LS
H9 = 3.55 LS
B6 = 3.73 LS
