Question Boging Down?

I'm sure they are not related but maybe...

I had flowmasters 40's install aweek ago and i notice that when I get on it so to speak when it hits alittle over 4 - 4500rpms it dies then goes again and shifts into the next gear... almost like my old chevy with the 6k rev limter... but it only does it from 1st to 2nd...

anyone hear of this?

Does adding flowmasters void my warranty?

Thanks,

Adding any exuast that is not factory installed will void your warrenty that is why I always recomend to people to unbolt the factory and have whatever shop bolt your new exhuast to existing pipe for those rare visits to the shop. Or if you have a ford shop that you really trust and they work with you you can get away with it.

adding an exhaust should not void your warranty unless you remove the cats. so just take it to the dealership if its still under warranty and have them look at it.

it does not void the warranty off the entire truck but if the reason for your issues extend from the fact that you added the exaust they will not cover this for you

It's just funny that I never noticed it untill a week after I do the exaust... Then again... I never slamed on the gas just to hear the exaust untill I got the mufflers.
