It is not hard, just time consuming. I installed a bodylift on my 98 tacoma when I was 16. it took me about 16 hours of work in my grandmothers driveway.

I would recommend going on performance accessories website and looking at the instructions. You will see it is not hard just a lot of detailed steps. You are separating the body from the frame.

Post photos of body lift installed... I'm curious as well.. Going up to 8" from 4"... I figure adding a 2" level and 2" body lift to get there..

I'm wondering could something be fabbed to keep tow hooks under the bumper but mount a bull bar in the hole left behind?....or at least that's what my plan is when I get my body lift.

I've had a PA body lift sence I bought the truck in 08 with no problems. I've got a bull bar mounted but had the tow hooks for a long time
