Ok ill just have to buy a body lift and build a replica bumper relocate but with thicker steel I would like a little more clearance with my tires without going crazy with a lift plus I do highway driving

Do you have stock rims though? I've heard people can run 35's with stock rims on a level. I have aftermarket wheels with a 0 offset so 35's would definitely not fit for me.

No i have aftermarket XDs with a mid off set. find swayzecrazy on here. he used to run 35's on stock wheels with a 2.5 inch level and no rubbing

I'm running 35's with 1.5" level on stock rims with a 1.75" modo trucks wheel spacers with very minimal rubbing

For those with the body lift, do you lose your tow hooks?

No, just take them off while your installing the lift and bolt them back on after.

So they will mount back in the original location in the bumper? I've seen a few trucks with body lifts where the tow hooks were below the bumper leaving the original location with a hole.

My lift has a couple of filler plates tacked over the openings left by the raised bumpers. Not perfect, but looks better than the holes.

Got it. Thanks. That alone makes me want to go with a suspension vs a body lift. Maybe I can find a good deal on a used one.

I have the 3" front and 2.5" rear leveling kit with 285 which is about 33.5" tires and I dunno if I could squeeze 35" tires on my 08 FX4. If u fit them with no rub please let me know!
