I know there's a difference in the bumpers. Not sure what else. I paid a reputable shop who's done work for me in the past to install it and he said never again. Took about a day and a half.
This is 3" AutoSpring level and 3" Performance Accessories body

Your truck looks exactly how i want mine to look! Got more pictures of it? And how much was your 3in spacer?

I wonder why people always talk bad about body lifts, not everyone with a ford has office jobs like yall to be buying 2000+ lifts! Rather waste 450 on a body lift plus 3 in spacer than 2000 for a sus lift just saying

My installer said the exact same thing. (See my first post.) As far as the bumpers, if done right, they install brackets to relocate them as well as gap guards in the wheel wells. But there's still things like the front tow hooks and exhaust tips, ect that remain in their awkward looking original positions.

I agree with BLs in certain applications. Mainly when.....

a). used in conjunction with a level kit as a cheap alternative to a suspension lift, or

b). when used in conjunction with a previously installed suspension lift and you want extra height

Yes your truck looks great!.. The only way I could tell you had a body lift on it was from looking at the tow hooks sitting below the bumper.. I really expected to see more frame showing..

Body lifts are great IMO if your trying to clear some big tires, while keeping the stock suspension geometry. There is nothing wrong them IMO.. Plus, the maintenance access is a definite plus. If you stack a body lift with a 6 inch lift, you can really make some room for much bigger tires..

That's exactly what's on my truck. 6" Fabtech and 3" BL.

Also, the frame exposure argument is easily remedied with a set of step tubes. Much less noticeable.

Which truck are you talking about in this thread? There's a bunch.

....and what's the 1st user talking about (silver FX4) "you can get a full suspension lift for almost the same price as a BL installed"? I'm not sure about that.
