how difficult would it be to do a 3" body lift on an 07 supercrew? i want to do it myself because ive called around and most shops want $750-$1000 labor for the install.

From what I've been told they are a major PITA.

did one on my 90 f250 4x4. it was a PITA. body bolts were a pain to get out and after all was said and done, i started it up and started to drive home. my road has a lot of frost heaves on it and every time i would go over one the truck would make a noise, got home and discovered that fan had made contact with bottom of shroud. trimmed shrould and all was well. but still a pain to install. ran 315-75-16's on it.

well im starting to think ill be best off just buying a suspension lift and using a leveling kit so that i can run 37's. everyone i have talked to has said that the body lift is a nightmare.

That would certainly be my suggestion.

the body lifts on the 04 and up is a major pain i charge $500 at my shop but its worth $750 or more
