Body Lift
#21
I think it is nuts for what they want to install them on these trucks let alone the 450-500 for the kit alone. if anyone has a copy of the install paperwork i would love to see it. I have done many body lifts and am real curious what the big deal is.
shop rates do very from 40-100 bucks a hour so total and to think i did body lifts for a case a bear and a steak..
Bart looks like your options are
1 the body lift
2. remove the leveling kit and go with a 6"
3. find rims with the correct backspacing since your rims and wheel shopping and leave it with the 2.5

gotta drill out some of the bushing, alot of relocating crap, i heard that lining everything up is a royal bitch, brackets are crappy, most kits don't fit flareside either, not sure what is different.

There is a reason not many people body lift newer trucks, the cost of the kit is alot as well as the labor to install it. But eitherway, also have you found a body lift that fits your truck? most kits do not include flareside.

yeah well thats understandable, yeah the garage said that they could get one to fit the flareside, because I have had a hard time locating one for it.
