I already have a 2.5 level kit on my truck but with the backspacing on the wheels that I have its not possible to fit 35's. There is just too little space there adding 35's without the lift. You pretty much lose all your flexing. I understand that i will only be gaining around 2 inches but that is all I need to run the set up that I want. I checked around and found a garage that will install the body lft for $650 plus the kit. I dont really think that is a bad price anyone disagree?

obviously they never installed one yet, so your gonna pay 650 plus 500 bucks for a body lift and gap guards, WOW that is nuts IMO. the shop here quoted a kit 15 hrs labor at 80 bucks an hour

damn sounds like they were trying to break one off in you atom did they use lube? I mean yeah thats what they quoted me, I highly doubt they would quote me a price for something that they have never installed before? And if the installation takes longer than they thaught who's loss is it? obviously not mine so who gives a **** right?

i would never install a body lift on anything, a kid in town saw my truck and thought i had a body lift. alot of shops give you a quote but that don't mean nothing really, the shop that gave the quote of 15 hrs labor installed the first one and quoted only 8 hrs and lost there *** big time, i could probably install 2 rancho lift kits in the time it takes to install 1 body lift. they can call half way thru and say hey we misquoted it, gonna take alot more time than we quoted, want us to keep going or not? have seen stuff like this happen before, just saying it happens. did they say how many hours of labor or no?

yeah they quoted me $95 an hour for 7 hours. He explained to me the difficulty in the installation. Look man I really dont care what or what not you would do to your truck thats why its your truck, I was asking a simple question as to where I may find one for a cheaper price than I had been given.

look bart i don't care either, you said they were breaking one off in me, i do my own works thanks, nor would i ruin my truck with a body lift, whatever it's your truck. i won't bother answering any more of your questions.

lol ruin my truck? oh and everyone doesn't have time to do the work themselves nor would I even attempt it but some people like doing it themselves as a hobby I can respect that. Look if I were going to take my truck out and off road it and go through mud I would consider installing the suspension lift, but unfortunatly for me I just want the look. As I had stated earlier in the thread I have a alternate vehicle for the off roading. I never have understood people payin 35k+ for a vehicle and taking it out in the mud and ****ing it up seems a little crazy to me I dont know???

i didn't see how that was sarccastic? most people who have winches use them, but i guess not you, must be to look cool
taking off tow hooks to me is ruining a truck, but i use my truck for a truck, if i wanted to look cool i would buy a vette
