You would need a totally custom intake manifold or convert your truck from 3v cylinder heads to 4v cylinder heads for it to work. You know seeing how the 08 GT500 is a 4v motor and it's intake will not match up to your 3v heads.

OP the answer to your question is yes and no........ Does a setup like that exsist for you to buy NO.... Can it be and done affordably yes......... The hard part for you is finding a blower kit without a blower or if you can get a Roush kit that uses the Eaton M112 it's a easy swap.... The 2007-2012 GT500 blower is a Eaton M122.... There is a company that makes an adapter plate kit for the 03/04 cobra to convert from a M112 to a M122 and it can be had fairly cheap..... I have a buddy that did this swap on his 04 cobra for $1,800 thats with fuel system, maf, custom intake, the ported blower included.
Now do I think thats the best route.... No.... I don't think the money saved is worth the hassel to be waisted in time, effort, stress of searching all those parts down when for a little more $$$ you can have a nicer, bigger, more efficeant 2.3L whipple kit.
Eaton M112 1.7L Roots /Eaton M122 2.1L Roots..... Whipple 2.3L twin screw.

Yea I know they make kits for our trucks. My father in law just took off the blower on his gt500 to go bigger and he was going to give me the blower if I wanted just didn't know how easy it would be or how much I would have to spend in the long run. I am assuming it would be to much of a hassle though so i might just start saving the dollars for a whipple

If you're getting it free and can install it, then find someplace to make you an adapter and run it. Its close to $5,000 for a whipple, plus installation and tuning.

I would certainly accept the generously offered free blower and at least sell it to put towards a used whipple kit.
Used whipple kits pop up from time to time OP. That's how I got my whipple.. Prices can range from 2k to around 4k for a nearly complete or complete whipple kit.
