Blower Fan Resistor.
Ok guys I'm really at my wits end and very frustrated. I cant seem to find the exact location of my blower fan resistor, this is suppose to be a 10 minute job once you find it. I have read all forums and have seen all the pics, its not behind my glove box or trying to follow wires didnt help at all. Only saw my blower fan climate controller behind the glove box. I know this topics been covered but I'm really stumped.
Does anybody actually know exactly where it is on a 2004 Lariet Supercrew????
Any help would be awesome..

Ok I have a 98 and a 02 and it is behind glove box. I also have a 04 so you peaked my interest. Been searching for about a half hour and they say it is also behind the glove box. The best description was on f150online.com. I'm on a Blackberry so I cant copy and paste. I searched 04 blower fan resistor and found it. It has pretty good pictures as well. I hope this helps you. If not one of our Ford techs should chime in and help further. Good luck hope you get it. No heat =bad day.

Dude if it was behind the glove box I would have found it already, believe me its not there but there is a blower fan climate controller where the resistor is suppose to be. its the new body style 04 Lariat.
Any ford tech guys out there that know exactly where the blower fan resistor is???? Thx

my 06 FX4 has it behind the glove box, its just a small circuit board
held in by two screws with one plug on it.
i had to replace it when my fan would not work on 1 or 2

Thanks for all the replies guys. I just found out I have a E.A.T.C. Electronic Automatic Temperature Control"
That pic that Bigdreynolds put up is right if you have a manual heater/ac setup. Where that resistor is in the pic, theres a climate control module in mine.
