Default Blackout tail lights myself or shop??

So I am debating on whether to blackout my taillights myself or have a shop do it..im guessing the shop is going to be anywhere from 50 to 100 dollars to do it...I found a really good detailed guide online on how to do it...so the shop or myself??

~~Didnt meant to post this twice btw~~

I was thinking of doing this myself, can you post or maybe email me the link to the detailed instructions? Thanks

Basically you will need, VHT Niteshades, Clear Coat, Sand paper 2000 grit or higher, and some cleaner.

1) remove your lights
2) Sand them with the sandpaper
3) clean really well
4) apply as many coats of VHT as desired (gets darker each coat)
5) Put a few coats of clear coat on
6) buff and polish

Shouldn't really take more than an hour to do them and its totally up to you how you want them to look.
