Default blacked out headlight housings

ive heard blacking them out can lower how brightly your headlights will shine the road because the light reflects off the polished/chrome housing, and painting it black removes the ability for the light to reflect. let me know what yall think of this

also, the color of my vehicle is close to the same of the emblem color. so those of you who have blue trucks that have made black modifications to your vehicles. pictures would be greatly appreciated

Not the color truck you are looking for but as long as you dont paint the mirrors you will be fine. Did mine myself and just carefully taped off the mirrors.

what do u mean by the mirrors? and having my truck as the ford blue, ive been told not to black out my tail lights or windows. but smoke them instead. i asked why?? reason being that my color isnt dark like yours or red, black, white ect....

Mirrors= chrome active reflective parts of the light housing

Agreed with smoke not murder...same reason, blue ain't dark enough...I would tint the windows though, that would still look good.......but if you don't wanna smoke the inside housing, you could take out the orange reflector and Nitshade it, or take it out entirely...

There are a few different blue colors in these trucks. If you have the dark blue one then it may look good just a personal preference. The chrome still left on my lights are the mirrors you need to leave. Tint is always good on any truck also
