Hey guys, so I found what seems like a good deal on some black rockstar XD 20x8.5 wheels on craigslist. they guy is asking $450 obo so im going to shoot for 350-400. These arent exactly my first choice in wheels but its a really good deal for almost brand new 20'' wheels. My stock 20" wheels are pretty badly corroded. My question is does any one have a pic of them on their vehicle? i have an 06 lariat, silver with the gold tutone paint. I'd like to see if i can picture them on my truck before i pull the trigger. Also, does anyone who has had these have any complaints about them? Just want to make sure im not throwing away $400

Silver with gold? I guess I haven't seen many of those around. Anyways, I found this pic of a grayish color with gold. Not sure of the size of the wheels, but they are the Rockstars.
I personally can't stand those wheels. Well, i should say i can tolerate them if the centercaps aren't on. But if you can score them for cheap, and it's what you want, then go for it.

yeah its "Smokestone clear coat metallic" with "Arizona beige", only available on Lariat. Kind of has a pearl hue in the sun. Anyways, The only thing I don't like about the wheels is the star in the center. I went ahead and bought them, they are in great shape, like brand new. I only paid $400 so I'm going to see if i can customize them a little to change that star, maybe a ford emblem or something instead. Of course now I'll have to put a level kit on it.

Even if they are not your favorite, that is still a pretty good score. Im not a fan of them because everyone where I live has a set of them, but for that price, Id rock them too.

Thanks for the link Summers, but I already bought them. Getting them put on tomorrow morning. As most of you said, they aren't your favorite wheels, and they really arent my favorite but I did find a center cap on ebay that deletes the star, all 4 for only $40. I think this might help them out a little bit. I'm not really hoping to keep these forever, I'm thinking these will be temporary, and then moved to winter wheels (wisconsin winters can be rough) and eventually get something that I really like.

That star delete will make them look better. Heck, I even like them with no centercap at all. Where is WI are you?

Yeah I got them put on today, they actually look pretty good, I hope to post some pics soon. powerranger, I live in Manitowoc, and work in Sheboygan
