Default Black Cloth Seats

I've got black cloth seats in my 05. It seems like anything that is wet that touches them leaves some sort of mark or stain.

The other day my windows were cracked and it rained for a bit. Now my passenger seat has dots on it from the rain drops.

Does anyone have a specific product they use to clean their cloth seats? I don't want to go trying random cleaners because I'm afraid they might leave a mark too.

I had the gray cloth in my '05. Just terrible like you say. Any moisture looked like a **** stain. I found that if you wet the entire seat with a damp cloth, it dried back evenly. I used Dawn dish soap when I had an actual dirt stain...

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to give that a try.

I have an 05 with gray seats and on the drivers side a hole where you can see the padding, well it got bigger and soon it was unbearable to look at, so I ordered some new seat covers, Red center and black sides, but it didn't come with a center console cover which was gray. My solution was to spray paint the center seat and armrest black (using fabric paint) turned out real nice. I could never get the water marks out, my seat belts are disgusting and I was thinking of painting those as well.

Try Tough Stuff (AutoZone) yellow spray can. This is amazing at how it can clean seats, carpets, seatbelts, just spray, work in, then wipe out with microfiber cloth or towell. All will look new. Water spots, everything just goes away and seats look new.

My truck has gray cloth as well. I just use the little green proheat pet machine by bissell
You can pick one up for around $100 at Walmart. It cleans the seats and carpet and seat belts really well. I use it on all my cars.

Get them nice and clean and think about protecting the cloth with seat covers. I like Clazzio seat covers the best, check truckleather or maybe ebay.

Also Wet Okole's are nice because they are water-proof. Unless you like the cloth seats best, either of those brand seat covers will upgrade your interior and protect those seats.

After you clean try Scotch Guard, it has worked for me to keep to keep light dirt and water off the seats and makes clean ups alot easier.
