Leaning towards just taking the spacers off and lifting the Bilsteins. Potentially a stupid question so be nice but what if I were to keep the spacers and lift the Bilsteins to the middle or top rung?

I would. I find my bilsteins lifted ride a little stiffer but I like it that way

do they make bilstein 5100 adjustables for the 04-08 F150s? I wasn't able to find one that said that they were adjustable. If so does anyone have part numbers for them?

The 5100's on the front are one time adjustable. There's three places to locate the spring seat before the spring is compressed onto the strut. The rears are not adjustable.

EDIT: By one time adjustable, I mean, once you compress the spring onto the strut it's set. You'd have to remove the spring to adjust the height again.

I would take the spacer out and just raise the bilsteins, they do ride stiffer but I love mine (set on highest rung), as far as combining the spacer and bilstein lift I would not recommend that, I could possibly see issues coming from that. If your wanting more lift, they make a 3 inch spacer, which I would still not recommend, if your going that high do it right with a 4" or 6" suspension lift kit. Depending on your rear end, a 3" spacer will most likely set nose high so then you would need to add a leaf or block to the rear. Keep in mind if your spacer is 2" and you set the bilstein on the 2" lift that's 4" total, that's pushing it too far, the upper A arm would most likely hit the coil spring over bumps. That is just My opinion!
