So finally here is a pic...truck is almost a half inch high in the front. Still undecided as to what I should do...any thoughts?

So I guess I am a little confused. Do these get installed as an alternative to the conventional level kit or can the conventional kits ($80 type) be used in addition to these to further lift the truck? I know you run into control arm/ball joint limitations but what are the possibilities?

It bears to mention, I guess- I am running a 2wd.

From what I have seen they are mostly used as an alternative to lift kits...the front shock has 3 settings, one for stock, one for about a 1 1/4 inch lift and the top for a 2 1/2 inch lift. The rears will give you a little boost too, but less than half an inch. I have also see people with lifts use these shocks..you can buy them for different applications...mine were for a previouosly stock hight...others have ordered them if they have a lift and need to level the front a little more as well...hope that helps.

Looks perfect to me. I'm getting my Bilsteins installed on Monday and I hope it turns out like yours. Looks level in the pic.

I have the Gibson too and love it, my brother got his from ebay but I wanted a valid warranty(the winter salt here destroys metal) so I got it here. gibson 5100, or you can try one of the vendors here on the forum, they are allways having sales/specials. Either way its a great system and very easy to install and for the price you give it a look.

You must have a pretty good eye to notice 3\8"! You're probably the only one who would ever notice. How difficult is it to make an adjustment on these?
