Bigger wiper blades. Secret numbers inside////
Since buying my truck in March, I've done plenty of reading all over and implemented a few changes that actually make life easier for me. I can't find a thread here to contribute to in the 04-08 section regarding larger wiper blades, so I'm making my own. Yes, I searched. It is as follows:
I spent some time measuring and found out what maximum lengths were for driver and passenger side wiper blades, both at rest and at maximum wipe angle. Next, I went to the WTmart and purchased some RainX Expert Fit conventional blades in 22" and 26" lengths. Those are the secret numbers. The 22 goes on the passenger side, and the 26 goes on the other side (driver). The 26 actually measures 25.5" long, as measured by me in the store with one of the tape measures from the tool aisle. Perfect!
Total cost was about $14.
Enjoy the 18% increase in wiped windshield area.
I can get pics if you guys can't figure this one out.

X2 on the pics. I think I'll try this when I'm due for new wipers.

Also, the walmart brand wiper fluid w/ rain repellent (rainx knockoff) works excellently.

Starting to sound like you work for Walmart. Kidding, I'll take a look into that as well. Do you know the freezing point of that stuff by chance?

SuperTech Bug Remover with Rain Repeller. Says it's for +32F. I'm going to singlehandedly keep walmart from going under by pushing this $1.50/gallon fluid on internet forums.

I was going to ask of you worked there or something.
I have to stick to the washer fluid that goes waaaay below zero. I never remember to flush out the summer stuff, and so I end up with a frozen tank. I just keep the winter stuff in my truck and the wife's car all year round
now.

All of that here: https://www.f150forum.com/f83/dual-3...grille-297757/ Did bambi mod and then reversed it back to stock because of too much foreground light. 9055 bulbs in the fogs. LED reverse bulbs, LED map and dome bulbs. Magnetic oil pan plug. Hit rear sliding window motor w/ hammer per this thread: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/rear-sl...hammer-307947/ Husky mud flaps all around, + front floor mats. Edge Evo CTS from craigslist. Oh, and a plug in my rear tire last week.
Do you seriously want pics of the wiper blades?
