Default Bigger Fuel Filter

Its that time of the year again where I need to replace my fuel filter. I was going to just go to discount auto and get one but I was wondering if anyone knows of a good brand or performance filter I could put on instead. I have heard of people putting bigger filters with higher pressure but I have had no luck finding any for my truck. Thanks

Nice truck. Why hassle with a larger filter though? As long as you're getting around 40psi at the rails, you should be fine. Are you getting clogged often?

Just get an OEM filter for it.

Why would you need a bigger filter, is yours clogging up or are you running E85 fuel?

I have no real reason for getting a bigger filter other than maybe getting more fuel to the rails quicker and maybe gaining some performance. I usually just put the OEM ones on and have no problem.

Bigger fuel filter won't move fuel any quicker because you have the same line diameter before and after the filter. I run a kenne belle supercharger on my 2006 Mustang GT and it runs through the oem fuel filter. If it's good enough for a 500 hp 4.6, it should be good enough for our engines.

The fuel pressure comes from the fuel pump.

The restriction in our fuel system is not the filter
