I had 265/70r17's KO2's and now I have 35x12.50r17 ko2's, both run at 40psi, had 7,000+ miles on the 265's with almost no sign of any wear, look like new still. That's what the manager at Discount Tire said he runs his KO2's at so I went with it. They didn't/don't ride hard either.

I ran 50 psi summer and 40 psi winter. 65 psi when towing.

I'm on my second set of the BFG KO's 285/70/R17 and run 50psi. First set got 60k and I'm expecting about the same kind of mileage on the second.

Damn, maybe 40 psi is too low? How do they feel at 50? Do they ride hard?

They ride real nice, it was recommended that I run 50 when I purchased the first set and that is what I have always run.

Just might have to give 50 a whirl. Thanks for the info.

Ya the shop installed them have them at 65psi. The most I tow is my boat maybe 2,000lbs. I'm guessing I won't need to inflate them up to 65 just to tow it. I'll try running them at 50psi

That's really high pressure. There's not really any need for it, but whatever works for y'all. Our computer at work recommends 35 for load range E for this size.
