I've seen them go a lot of miles, but I've never seen them go that far, and I replace 3-4 sets a day on average. I'd have to see some receipts with mileage to believe it, and even if so its not the norm for these tires. The average driver can't even maintain their vehicle good enough or inspect their own tires enough to get any set of tires to wear completely even. If there were "tons of reviews of people getting even more than that" I wouldn't be able to sell anything but the BFG.
