Best way to keep Black clean??
So I have a black f-150, and I need some more effective ways to keep my truck clean. Washing it once or twice a week just isn't cutting it, and I need ways to make it keep looking sharp. Any ideas?

Either keep it in a airtight garage/shop and don't drive it or just deal with it getting dirty.
Seriously though its just the price you pay for haveing a black vehicle. I keep telling myself I'll never buy another black vehicle yet I keep doing it. Get you some good polish/wax and get some good coats on there. Your still going to get dust but if you keep some good coats of polish on the truck it will just all wash off. Plus you will cut down on the dreaded scratch marks. Good luck!

I'd say get some of that quick detail stuff that you can spray on, then wipe off with a microfiber towel real quick. That way if its just a lil bit dirty, all you have to do is spray it down n wipe it down quick. No draggin out the hose, washing, dryin, etc. I have as of yet to do it, but I'm thinkin I will as soon as the weather warms up an I feel like washing it by hand.

Any ideas on where I can get some simple touch up? Ive got decent sized scratches down the side from driving through the woods at night that I don't want.

Nothing rattle canned
You can try a color match wax to mask the scratches or most auto parts stores have touch up paint.
As for keeping it clean...this time of year is tuff, pollen up here has everything coated in green. A good coat of wax is a good start.

X2 for the Turtle Wax Black Box...it works great and has a black pigment in it and will take care of swirl marks and light to moderate scuffs and scratches. I would recommend a buffer...

If mine gets dusty I will blow it off lol but other than that there is no easy fix to keeping it clean, no amount of product will keep off dirt and dust it just has to be washed, unfortunately I wasn't able to chose the color of my truck but I will never own a black truck again. The only thing I can say about it is if you don't park in a garage and live in a hot region (like florida) keep it waxed or it wont be black long
