Default Best way to increase MPG?

Please list me the best ways to increase MPG, I have a 2008 4.6L V8. No mods.

I have heard CAI and Tuner but I only want MPG, I don't care about increases in HP.

Will these items hurt my engine/trans or decrease the life of components in an accelerated rate?

The way u drive is the best way to improve your mileage. Easy on the gas when starting out and keep rpms under 2000 when possible. It will take a while to break even if u spend money on cai or tuner. Mpg may only increase 1 mpg. Maybe a little more, but not much. Drive like a grandpa will be your best way to improve mileage. Gotts is only 15-20 bucks and may get u a half mpg, so it would probably be worth it.

CAI? Hmmm. More air would require more fuel not to lean out.

A Tuner has possibilities.

Making sure your tires are properly inflated & driving style sound like something that require no cash outlay.

Best way to get best mileage is to drive below 62 mph, down hill, along winding river roads following the down hill flow of water, with the wind at your back and your foot lightly resting on the pedal, never pushing it just resting there letting it pull itself, in no real hurry to get anywhere in particular just resting it on the pedal and the truck just rolling along below 62 mph on a 2 lane blacktop slowly rolling down a river road enjoying the day, rolling along slowly under 62 mph lightly loaded, not a worry on your mind, watchful, patient, kind and curtious respecting life and property of others.

Haha awesome good read and made me laugh

I'm 6'6" and love my truck. I like the leg room and being able to see the road.

I don't want a pos focus.

I got some Christmas money and jus wanted to know my options.
