Default Best Wax?

What's everyone's choice for wax? My truck is black and I plan on waxing it before winter. In the past I have used Turtle Ice. What do u think works best?

For a "budget" wax I like Chemical Guys Pete's '53, and for a higher end I like Dodo Juice Supernatural. Both are easy on and off and work great on darker vehicles. Pete's 53 is around $40(8 oz) and Dodo Juice is around $125(6.75 oz). My truck has a couple layers of Pete's '53 on it now and it's held up all summer with no problems at all, and I wash it a lot.

X2^^^^

I've tried at least 50 different waxes in my life... Collinite 845 takes the crown...you can also put it on just about anything. It lasts up to 6 months each time and beads like mad!

I used to use Black Magic synthetic before it became too hard to find. I loved the shine my truck had. It looked showroom ready every time i waxed it. Now i use Meguiars Gold Class. It's almost gone, so I think i might go back to the black magic, now that i found it again. Both are really cheap too, less than $15. I wax my truck quarterly. I could be wrong about these though, they are all that I've used. I think the water beads up and rolls off nicely when it rains.

Good choice on the Blacklight! I think you'll like it a lot, and it brings out a great shine for sure. Here are a few pics of mine detailed with Blacklight and other Chemical Guys products.

Only Blacklight and Hybrid V7 Spray Sealant/QD

Blacklight, Jetseal 109, Pete's '53 Wax, and Hybrid V7 Sealant/QD

I don't have an F150 ( yet) but I have always used Meguiar's products on my car to keep it looking great. It a dark color (twilight blue). I usually use Meguiar's ultimate wash, Quik Detailer, and then Ultimate wax. Then for a couple months just wash and Quik detail has held the shine great.
