Just looked online at some reviews for Monster and apparently they are used a**holes and don't ever want to do warranty work, nor are they an accredited business by the BBB.

I looked at monster. Wasn't impressed either... They acted too busy to answer my questions on the phone. I just had mine done at gene brown transmissions(not sure if they have em in your area)

EVERYTHING upgraded. But I got first class customer service and the builder let me hang out and watch.. And was teaching me the whole time.

Fangs.. Where were these posts last week when our transmissions went out??! I had tried to start a thread on tranny upgrades/ repairs and I got nothing in response

Not blaming you... I had just seen your profile on a couple other transmission threads... I was just saying, after you and I had our transmissions rebuilt it seems there's a lot of posts about upgrades and builders

I would like to upgrade the tranny and make it a bit beefier, but as of right now I don't need it. If I decide I ever want to up the HP at all, I will build the tranny and motor all at the same time and get it done through one place. I have had trouble even trying to find a place that builds trannys in the area so I'd rather just play it safe and get a new one.

Fair enough! I would like to recommend a performance torque converter at least! The one I had put on mine changed my truck!! Better response, better power, better mileage. Most transmission builders will replace the tc with every rebuild, so I only had to pay the difference. And it was 200$ For the stock one,, and 400$ for the upgraded one. HUGE improvement over the oem

Good luck

The 3 best placees to upgrade the trans are clutch packs, valvebody, and tq converter.
Fuugz....... Ask some local drag racers..... They defanantly know a good trans guy.

My guy builds them, and ships them... Just incase you're interested, the comparable ones online go for 800-1000. Message me if you want more info... But I completely understand if not. trans repair/ replace is already a lot of $$
