The spacer does seem to make more clickity clunkity noises then just the shocks. But it does ride smooth..
perfect, for the life of me I can't remember if i have to pull the spacer and coil out for the shocks off hand, i suppose you can't pull the shock out without pulling the whole strut assembly out eh?

The spacer bolts on top of the complete coil and strut assembly.. Everything needs to be assembled off the truck, so the coil over and spacer all come out and go in as 1 unit.

So I can run the Bilsteins with my leveling kit? I'm not sure if the coils are worn out she's sitting on 161k. It's always rode good even leveled up until it hit about 150k then it just hit the fan. I'm looking at options right now. I don't really wanna go higher with a full lift. The Bilsteins seem to be the best bet for the money, I don't wanna buy something that's not worth the money lol.

Does anyone have the part number on the front and rear shocks? So I make sure I'm looking at the right thing.

call ajusa. they can look up the parts for you and also had the cheapest prices I could find. just a question, if you have the adjustable shocks, which level the truck without messing with the geometry that much, why set them at the lowest setting and still put a spacer on?

I used the Bilstein HD shocks/struts and used the 2"spacer up front. I absolutly love it. People comment on how nice of ride my truck has even though it has bigger tires on it.

Because 2" of lift is not enough to comfortably clear my 35" tires. 2.5" is just right with no rub..
Plus, the firmer ride from preloading the coil with the bilstein level is not the route I wanted to take..
I'm happy with the level on-top of the bilsteins, I'm just thinking the spacers could use a little dampening or cushion with some rubber, or urethane...

I have a 2.5" HBS kit on the front so I went with the Bilstein 4600 HD's and saved a few dollars instead of the 5100's. I called Bilstien and the only benefit of the 5100 over the 4600 is that you can raise the front end. I dont need that since I already have the HBS in there. Have been very pleased with the 4600 and they have a little extra for me when I pull my 6200lb camper.
