Default Best Reman. Motor out there? Thanks

I have looked at Jasper wich is local to me but they are in the 4K range.

Also:

about 3200.00

I have a local shop that will install for 850.00 plus parts. Everything else on my truck is good so I hope that stays under a couple hundred

Thanks

Well definitely don't spend $500 extra on plugs and a water pump...

Hard to trust Ford when they put this one in that failed with their Cam phasers and plugs

Both of those were redesigned, which is why OEM replacements are the only recommended ones

The ford ones come with a warranty you can use at any ford dealer. On YouTube DanielJaegerFilms went the ford route for that reason

I don't trust Ford "Certified" mechanics either that's what got me into this mess to start with. The truck passed their 100 point inspection then 7 days later I get a CEL light and the tell me for 8000.00 they will replace the motor. Needless to say, I won't ever walk on that lot again. The GM of the lot told me Sorry " I just can't wave a magic wand and make this all go away" What a *****! So the local Ford dealer around here will not see me again.

Unfortunately that's part of buying a used truck as is. Always try to swing a warranty of some kind. Most wont because they know these kind of things happen only once have I ever got a limited warranty thrown in at no charge. Also this can unfortunately happen with any vehicle of any brand and any dealer.
