Thing is expensive though. i bet something similar could be fabbed up using a mig welder, a surplus ammo box, and a padlock.

In NY, no matter how good a lock box you have, a hand gun can not be considered secure in a motor vehicle.

new york also has quite a few firearm laws that are questionable, also.

Might wanna get a concealed weapons permit first, if you don't have one already. I know here in Tennessee you have to have it in a case, unloaded, and locked in the dash or console to prevent trouble(s) in court. Something about having to make a certain amount of "moves" before you can actually get to your weapon....to keep yourself out of hot water, so to speak.

yes, three steps to discharge. Florida has the same regulation.

So what your saying is, by the time you get your gun from a lockbox, load the gun to defend yourself, T-dog has already pumped you full of bullets from his illegal(stolen) handgun?
