Default Best performance mods for 4.2L V6 engine?

I have a 2006 f150 with the 4.2L v6....This is the first time I'm interested in putting after market mods on a vehicle I have owned, can anyone suggest what mods are available/best for this engine to improve its hp and torque?
Thanks for any input you can give.

dude that website is a scam....
Its a pyramid scheme, you have to pay for the "free" service they're offering. Don't give them any money dude, its not legitimate trust me.

If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.

^^^^^Agreed!!! No offense. As anyone can see I am all for mods and performance but that motor is not designed for performance. Its an efficent cost friendly full size truck. Trade to a 5.4 or the above mentioned trucks and go from there.

Thread necromancy is bad netiquette.

Besides, the OP was just trolling for the pyramid scheme.

I came across the thread in a search.

I also noticed two things within 30 seconds of hitting the post button.
1..It was an old thread,
2...The OP was a spammer

However, I disagree with your first statement..any thread can be brought back from the dead. I've seen some good threads rise up now and again.
Some are better left forgotten....

You should probably know some facts about the Essex V6 engine before you start bashing it.

The block can handle upwards of 900hp. You can put the s/c off an 03/04 cobra on it and safely run 350rwhp.... which is a rather large bump from the 200/250 that the 4.2 version puts down stock.

I own a 99 Mustang with the 3.8 V6, it also has the Eaton M112 from the terminator installed. Hoping for 300rw with the stock motor and somewhere near or exceeding 400 when I build the 4.2 I have and drop it in. So dont tell me the motor isnt designed for performance.

I also own a 06 F150 w/ the 5.4 and I would take the 3.8 over that boat anchor any day of the week.

I built a '99 3.8 mustang for performance. Procharged and built. After all the money I sunk into that car to barely scrape at 12s, I wished I had just started with a GT to begin with. Now that I've sunk even more money into a GT that isn't quite dipping into the 10s, I wish I'd have just started with a GT500 to begin with. You're always gonna want more. Start big and go from there.

Default Have a list of mods?

Thank you!!!!!! I have been desperately trying to find mods for the 4.2 Essex but it’s so hard because the aftermarket has deemed this engine as “low preforming” even though we know it ant.

Do you know any good cold air intakes, throttle bodies, oil can catchers, and headers that’s are good but don’t break the bank?

I don’t need a torquey beast I just want to have some more torque when I’m pulling something or passing people , because my baby is a little sluggish at the moment.

Thank you!
