Personally, I trust Mobil 1 full syn. I run 5w30, with almost 70k, and I wouldnt use anything else.

Mobil 1 all the way. They have been doing Synthetic the longest..that I know of.. I have never had a problem running it and changing the oil every 4-5k.

its easy, if you are planing on keeping your truck for years or run it hard then you want the best protection out there. go with synthetic

hmm, well, truth be told - water floats my boat. Don't think that would work too well in this application :-)~

Sorry, just being a smart *****, which is much better than being a dumb one, I suppose. Ar Ar Ar - sometimes I crack even myself up! Felt the need to introduce a little (ok, very little) humor here.

I'm pretty sure Ford requires a synthetic or semi synth in the newer trucks... I don't remember exacly but I'll find out if I ever get 3000 miles on my truck so I can do an oil change

AMSOIL is not a bad product if you can find a distributor in your area. Bikers have sworn by the stuff for years.

As for me I swear by Mobil 1 in all my bikes Kawi GPZ550, ZRX 1200R, HD Electraglide), my daily driver (2001 Toyota 76K on the clock no problems), and my Porsche Boxster S (15,000 miles between changes according to the manual) The only thing I run dino oil in is my Explorer.
