hmm, well, truth be told - water floats my boat. Don't think that would work too well in this application :-)~
Sorry, just being a smart *****, which is much better than being a dumb one, I suppose. Ar Ar Ar - sometimes I crack even myself up! Felt the need to introduce a little (ok, very little) humor here.

I'm pretty sure Ford requires a synthetic or semi synth in the newer trucks... I don't remember exacly but I'll find out if I ever get 3000 miles on my truck so I can do an oil change
AMSOIL is not a bad product if you can find a distributor in your area. Bikers have sworn by the stuff for years.
As for me I swear by Mobil 1 in all my bikes Kawi GPZ550, ZRX 1200R, HD Electraglide), my daily driver (2001 Toyota 76K on the clock no problems), and my Porsche Boxster S (15,000 miles between changes according to the manual) The only thing I run dino oil in is my Explorer.
