Want to clear 295/60r20 on stock wheels
I have a 2006 F150 4x4, been researching level kits and wheel/tire combos for a while.
After research, I like the 295/60r20 on the factory 20" wheels, while maintaining the factory rake. Would a 1.5" level work or do I need 2"? What size rear block do I need?
Assuming I need 1.5", is this the kit that I want? It says 1.5" taller front/rear(comes with spacer and rear blocks), but it says "level" kit so confused if it maintains the rake or not?

It also says on the website "After installing this kit you will be able to clear up to a 34" tall tire on a factory width wheel." I believe the 295/60r20 is slightly larger than 34", would this be ok?

The kit you're looking at is a level/lift. It can be used to either level OR lift. You will maintain factory rake if you use both front and rear. Do they have a 2" set up available to be sure to clear?

Great thanks. They do have a 2" kit that lifts 2" front/back, so I gather I should get that to ensure 295/60r20's would fit. I just didn't want the lift to get to big to affect the ball joints, truck is 10 years old.

It's going to effect your ball joint's, tie rod end's and cv shaft's ... its just a matter of time ... and your truck already being that old you should think about replacing all that now ...when you do the level.

I have an FX4, I have a taller rear block then a regular 4x4? What size are the rear blocks stock? Just want to make sure when I start ordering stuff that I get the right size block, I am leaning towards the 2" level up front, and whatever size block gives me 2" of lift in the back.

All 4X4's have the same size block.. you don't need to raise the back to fit those tires...

As bign1497 says, I want to maintain the factory rake or slightly less, but I want some rake. Has nothing to do with fitting tires in the rear. I load the truck sometimes and like to keep some rake.
So my real question is "With a 2" level up front, how big of a rear block do I need to raise the rear 2" on a 2006 F150 FX4?" I also do not want to stack blocks, just buy the right size block I need, I think it would be 3" or 4", but again, not sure.
