This question had been batted around many times before.

My thought is this, we didn't buy a hybrid, we bought a brick on wheels. What did you expect the mileage was going to be when you are as aerodynamic as a house?

If it's mileage I'm after......I'll jump in my Accord and haul a**....

No long drivin' for me day in and day out, so the mileage I'll trade for the rumble and power....

I have a new 2008 F150 Supercrew with the 5.4L (4x2). It is pretty much stock and I about 750 miles on it. I have averaged about 15 MPG to date. The majority of the drives are commuting to my office about 9 miles away. I go through about 6 traffic lights to get there.
