Hello forum, I own an 07 F150 XLT 5.4l and was wondering what the best sounding muffler and cat setup would be. I am looking for a deep throaty sound that won't drown the cab. I would like to be able to hear my stereo and hold a decent conversation. I have considered a full exhaust single in dual out kit but unfortunately they present no performance gains for the money spent, and true duals are expensive to have run on our motors, so I am opting for an alternate muffler and cat setup. If there is an economical dual pipe kit as it is preffered, please tell. Any response would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a Borla atak muffler and it's awesome! No drone but it's throaty and loud

Flowmaster super 44 was hands down the best muffler I had on my 09 5.4... I swapped out the 40 series and a Brola atak muffler... 40 series was to quite. Borla was to loud. The super 44 was just right. Very deep sounding.
