yes 1 tuner with 3 custom tunes, i was thinking around $1500 with the tuner exhaust and CAI. I really hadn't considered a used supercharger...Hmm. That kind of concerns me since you don't always know what your getting when it is used. Still would need a good intake/exhaust/tuner with the supercharger. With that in mind I will get the big 3 combo first and keep my eyes open for a charger. So what is the best combo?

You can agonize over the 5-10hp difference in various tuners, tunes, and other parts. Ultimately you will never feel that 10hp. Though I do appreciate your longing for power. I love SCT for tuning. If you are going to spend the money get custom tunes. Not that crap that comes preloaded. Longtube headers and Magnaflow or Borla mufflers (20hp). The Flowmasters are chambered mufflers and that hurts power. A CAI can help a little but the gains are going to be up high in the rpms not low to mid like you want. Efans can help out usually 10-15hp. Your best bet is a used Sc kit. Keep your eyes open. They can generally be had for $3000. The typical 8psi roots or twinscrew will put over 400lbft of torque to the wheels just off idle.

As far as dyno results....nobody ever spends the coin on that unless they are doing some serious mods. Most people would be pissed to know they spent well over $1000 for a few hp.

On another note you should also look at www.troyerperformance.com

Superchargers have their own intake system. Nothing of that nature that you buy now would work with a blower. Also you could keep your handheld device say the sct but.you would have to purchase new tunes to go with the blower.

LOL, this is true and what I am trying to avoid. I would love to have a supercharger. Looks like for now I should get an SCT tuner, gotts mod with drop in filter, headers, and magnaflow exhaust while waiting for a deal on a supercharger. What headers should i get? Is there anyone that will sell me this as a package? Thanks

Here's a kit providing 40hp by 3000rpm. I would suggest giving Troyer a call and talking to him about your wants. http://www.troyerperformance.com/cgi...no=Stage204354

Dynatech is my choice on the headers but they are super expensive. I wish I could remember the name of the other good ones. I think JBA. Oh and here's a thread with some dyno numbers

Yea im not sure about which combo is best but i would recommend a edge over a sct because you can watch the parameters of your truck unless you go with troyer over php then i think you need the sct i have a tune coming from php but i cant say which is better because i havent tried troyer and i dont have the php tune yet so id do some research on who you think is better and on the exhaust id also think about an electric cutout so you eliminate the mufflers if you want to run open headers with the flip of a switch and vice versa but yea good luck on you power gaining adventure ha

You can monitor your parameters with sct as well. http://www.sctflash.com/showproducts.php
From just a dash pod similar to the edge to having a laptop.
Unless you're heavily modified and pushing the vehicle to the limits watching the numbers is kinda pointless imo. Like a geaky teen putting a condom in his wallet. Sure he feels cool but that's as far as he's getting. Keep in mind if you go with the Edge and supercharger later you will be up a creek without a paddle when it comes to finding a tuner who knows what they're doing.

However if you do go with edge and ever boost your truck ive heard nothing but good things about bill from php and they will tune you for anything you have but for major mods like those you need to be in shop not over the computer obviously and being able to watch your parameters is never useless unless you put it to monitor what you already have guages for plus the fact any programmer you get is going to most likely double as a dtc reader either way you go ive heard nothing but good about troyer and sct and php and edge and unless your close to either one the odds of you going to them for a in house tune if you ever boost it is not likely anyways so if your serious bout getting away from n/a id go with a sct as they can pretty much run a custom tune from anyone who does tuning and i dont think edges will
