Default Best Cold Air Intake?

What's the best CAI out there? Is there an advantage getting the power box or just open ended?

Hi.

^^^ The STOCK intake. It already outflows the engine's needs, and is already a CAI. No aftermarket unit will gain you any power - just looks and some 'noise'. Plus you WILL need custom tuning to render it safe as the MAF TF is skewed by most all of them.

Apply the Gotts mod and save yer money. Invest in a custom flash programmer instead if yer looking for actual tangible gains.

good luck

The above is the correct answer from MGD.
Buy a programmer. I have an Edge EVO and like the extra performance it provides.

Thanks, Joe.

Wellsir, the snow is finally gone around here, and I've dusted off the ol' Cannondale. Unfortunately I didn't spend enough time on the trainer, and that tiny Selle Flite Titanium is a pain in the *** - literally. I reckon I'm going to have to invest in a old fart's seat ....

Speaking of Cannondale - my old Cannondale is my favorite ride. The others just gather dust.
