After seeing grease monkeys grease the "grease fittings" on drum brakes.... I'd question the competence of most people doing chassis lube jobs.

I replaced mine the last time with Moog ball joints without grease fittings, they've been fine for about 30K, which is a record for the streets I drive on.

05 lariat and I went with moog. No complaints here. Here is a tip though. If u are using a ball joint press from autozone the lower tube thing that is supposed to go over the ball joint is too big. I had a piece of pipe I cut and used that in its place.

MOOG for the lifetime warranty, just in case. The boots seem to hold up better on their parts versus the cheaper brands. Just something I've noticed.
