Best All-Terrain Tire?
#11
I just put some 285/65/18 BFG all terrains on my truck, I picked them up used for $200 and a case of Corona so it was a hell of a deal but they are load range E so they deliver a pretty rough ride but oh well and plus they make a world of difference in looks between them and the factory Rugged trails

BFG All-Terrain KO are GREAT tires. I purchased a set for my 95 Jeep Wrangler, I put over 60,000 miles on them over about 5 years and they had barely worn any. They rode great, with great traction and little to no road noise.
I traded the Jeep for my new F-150 - which has 18" BFG Radial Long Trail T/A on it. So far they ride great but since I have less than 700 miles on it so far, I am not sure how quickly they will wear.
I am a big fan of the BFG and would have put them on the F-150 if they didn't already have them.
Just my humble opinion.

yeah it all depends on who you ask...i personally HATE the BFG's because they are a very out dated tire. they haven't changed anything on it in the last 20 years and they do not ride good they never stay balanced (and they are a pain in the ***** to even get balanced) and they wear funny. try something new like they Toyo a/t or wild country xtx which have a severe weather rating which no other all terrain tire has! it all depends on your budget and what you think looks good.

Ive been pleased with the Goodyear Wrangler AT/Ss that my truck has on it. They last a long time, they dont howl at highway speeds and they have good traction in rain, snow and on ice. They really arent all that expensive either.
