Does anyone know if the Roush exhaust will fit on a 5.4L V8 CrewCab with a 6.5' bed? On their site it only says it fits a SuperCab with a 6.5' bed, and only a crewcab with a 5.5' bed

If you are putting it on your self use an extra 12" of piping from the stock exhaust or if its a different size, pick up 12" from ur local exhaust guy...If the exhaust guy is putting it on, he should be able to work with no problems...

I highly suggest the cherry bomb exhaust system. I have them on my truck an they are very loud in case you didn't want to extract the cat converters

Cherry bomb is on the low end when it comes to performance...mostly designed for sounds...

Default Magnaflow exhaust

New to the thread, but I have a 2008 STX 4.6L, What you heard about magnaflow is partially accurate... When engine is cold my magnaflow pops, but once its warmed up absolutly no pop. Ill post some pics of my truck when I get around to it.

At 75 years old and needing a replacement exhaust I wasn't exactly looking forward to buying one online and installing it myself as in times past. This morning I went to the local custom muffler shop and asked him what was available and he asked me about volume, he told me what he had which, according to him they had 4 tones from magnaflow and what he called the turbo was the first up from stock only a much nicer sound. He asked me about the chrome extensions and I kind of acquaint the large diameter extensions with the hollow sound that is so prevalent on many trucks w/duels so I said 2-1/2" and that would replace the 3" I had. He went ahead and installed what we agreed on and 4 hours later. I paid the man and drove off with a system that to me sounds great and has a very nice tone to it for right at $400.00 installed with 14 ga alumsteel pipes and muffler, and from what I saw online was about the price they wanted for the same system without installation. If you don't know what you want, go to your local custom muffler shop and ask him to give you an education, my other system had ripples from bending and that is where it rusted out. The new system has nice smooth bends, it also goes straight out the back.
