They were jacked up cheapies. The chevy dealer I bought the truck from slapped them on to make it look better. They were pitted and rusting. The local tire shop gave me some credit towards the new set when I got the wheels and lift.

Well it took 3 Months, but the 37's finally caught something and broke it.

The Drivers side bushwacker got hung up this weekend pulling into an elevated lot:

I'll just use some JB weld and reattach it after the rain is done.

Looks like I'll be saving up to add the extra couple inches of lift.

Did some research, going to change to the Superlift 6"+ leaf springs and a 2" block and
the Level Spacer up front. Bummer.

I was doing good with the big 37s too.

Thanks! They are a sqeeze, and now I have to figure out what to do to stop the rubbing. But I like them!

Thinking of front AirShocks so I can raise and lower the front as needed.

Been a long time since I posted anything. Thought I'd give an update.

My Flowmaster muffler crapped out on me. The guts rusted out of it and started rattling like crazy. It was so loud I though I broke something loose under the hood.

Took it to a local shop and the installed a SIDO Magnaflow with custom bent dual tail pipes. Master Muffler shop in Hillsboro, OR. Great guys over there.

Since I have airbags installed (Firestone Ride-Rite), they took the time to bend the tailpipes away from the airbags so I didn't have to keep that flimsy junk heat shield from the airbag kit.

Also had the rear-end serviced at the same time. The gasket was seeping oil. 70 bucks to replace the gasket and oil.

I also purchased a white Ford emblem overlay off Amazon. First pic above.

Still dealing with the rear ride height issue. The rear end is 2" lower than the front. How the installer messed this up is beyond me. With the airbags full, it rides level.

I also need to fix the airbag mounting. The current placement isn't as solid as it should be. The passenger side has come loose twice. So I'm trying to find some over leaf mounts to use instead.

Parked at a charging station.

I finally got around to installing some of my Christmas presents.

Had a Thule roof rake installed, permanent mount tracks 44" long. I remove the cross-bars when I'm not hauling the kayaks around.

Installed a billet bumper grill and mounted a 20" LED Fog/Spot light combo behind it.
Still need to get it wired in.

Swapped my jump seat out for an XLT console. I used car-parts.com and found a 2008 60th Anniv. console in MO. $250+S&H.

Installed the DeeZee EZDown Tailgate shock, Pop-n-Lock Tailgate autolock, mounted my Hi-Lift Jack to the tailgate, installed my Harrbinger Cargo Bar w/ cago net, and installed a Rampage LED Fireline w/ Reverse between the tailgate and bumper

Swapped out my door and tailgate handles, and tow mirror caps, for the full chrome versions; amazon-Dorman OEM replacements. And swapped the fuel door with an APC aluminum locking version. Although, the locking part doesn't work since they didn't engineer the locking mechanism properly. I need to bend and alter the locking tab.

I tried the plastic covers, painted to match. But they were crap, didn't stick, and looked like cheapie junk plastic. That's why I replaced with OEM chrome versions.

My long list of to do:
Install my JVC touchscreen bluetooth head-unit KWAV61BT, Clarion XC1410 4-channel AMP, Infinity Reference 6832CF 6x8s in all the doors, license plate backup camera, reverse sensor kit, wire led fog light, and put ford projector welcome lights in the front doors. Hopefully over the next couple of weekends.

I also need to remount my front license plate. I want to mount it below the bumper grill, but it looks like a fumanchu.

After I replace my tonneau with a BackFlip, install Clazzio seat covers and install FF Dynamic EFans, I'll be completely done until I need to repaint to Blizzard white and rebuild the engine in about 10 years.

Default Long time no post...

It's been a long time since I posted. Thought I'd give an update.

I removed the Harley Davidson badges. I bought plain non-model specific badges and removed the black paint. I like the plain chrome look.

I installed Fuel Octane wheels with Kumho RoadVenture MT tires

Got rid of the plastic bed liner. Installed a bed rug and tailgate rug.

On the inside, I installed replacement leather from LeatherSeats.com, grey with white stitching.
I installed heated seat pads in all four corners.

I also installed reverse sensors and reverse cam. I blew some of my speakers, so I had a local shop install a full stereo system. Kenwood HU, Musconi 4ch amp, Illusion audio speakers.

I installed a front mounted hitch, then mounted the front license plate to a hitch mount for a winch.

Never got around to the EFan install. Since I'm pulling a boat a lot in the summer. I'm considering what else I can do to increase power.
