"Beeping" in reverse
over the past few weeks when it's extremely cold, whenever I start my truck then put it into reverse it "beeps"...a three second "beep" inside the truck. Any ideas on what the "beep" is??

Just Creepin
If you have rear parking sensors and it starts beeping then stops (any kind of beep, no real order to frequency or how many), one of the sensors has failed. It starts going off in the first place because they are covered with snow. Theres a button to the right of the cigarette lighter that is Off button for the sensors, if you have them. It lights up when they turn off after the beeping.

Did you ever figure out the problem? Mine does the same thing now. As soon as I go from Park to Reverse there are 3 Beeps coming from what sounds like the right hand side of the dash up by the defrost vents.
